majority of their descendants no longer speak German. Additionally,
German-speaking communities can be found in the former German colony of Namibia independent from South Africa since 1990, as well as in the other countries of German emigration such as Canada, Mexico, Dominican Republic, Paraguay, Uruguay, Chile, Peru, Venezuela (where Alemán Coloniero developed), South Africa and Australia.

Ну, во-первых, в цитате речь только о северо-западной Европе, что сразу дает нам Австрию. Во-вторых, в той ссылке есть число немецкоговорящих - их в мире насчитывается 120 миллионов - только native speakers (что означает, что за пределами Германии их уже больше, чем внутри оных). Но в-третьих и главных, это все неважно, поскольку его логика требует, чтобы на этих языках говорили ТОЛЬКО в пределах северно-западной Европы, поскольку именно это позволило бы сделать вывод о происхождении английского языка из этого региона.
